Graduate prospects on rise in 2015 – just not for everyone

There appears to be good news for graduates in 2015. Predictions are that employers are planning on hiring up to 8% more graduates. However there are some challenges which can affect the confidence in emloyers as they plan out their workforce. A worldwide economy affected by the oil price, emering nations slowing down, the general election and the UK locations and specific sectors where growth is taking place are all factors which can stall the predicted 10 year high for 2015. How can a graduate best shape their applicaiton efforts? Look for sectors with higher skills shortage typified by employers looking at long term training. Be flexible on location – more jobs are being created in the South?
